The Archive of the Jewish Community of Zagreb has documentation, personal items, collections of magazines and digital documentation related to the JCZ, its membership and the Jewish population in Zagreb and Croatia. The archives preserve unique documents relating to the Croatian Jewish community. The oldest document dates from the second half of the 19th century, and the most valuable documentation refers to the period between the two world wars, especially to the period of the Shoah (Holocaust).

According to the depth of the order, the material is divided into funds, series and subcategories, objects and types of documents. Individual documents are identified by marks, names, time of creation, condition, quantity and carriers. They are represented by content, context, shape, range and physical properties. They are marked with search parameters; keyword, index, topographical marks, and are also categorized according to public availability. The classification list and an overview of documents can be found online.
